In 2019, Bhattadev University has been established and provides undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate diploma programs. UG and PG courses in Assamese, Sanskrit, Assamese journalism, mass communication, and journalism are available at BU. At this university, admission to all courses is determined by merit. The University will soon begin offering a PhD degree as well.

Candidate requirements for the BA program are passing the 10+2 or any other higher secondary exam with at least 50% from a board that is recognized throughout the nation.

Candidates for the B.Sc. and B.Com. course must have passed the 10+2 exam or any other higher secondary exam from a recognized board in this country with at least 50% in the science stream.

Merit-based entry: Bhattadev University uses both the Common University Entry Testing (CUET) score and merit-based evaluation for admission. A part of the seats is filled depending on the 12th grade marks, while another part depends on the Qite score.
